Christmas is here!!! After an outstanding day at The birmingham bizzare bazaar we can look forward to Christmas is going to be a manic few days to get all the orders shipped before Christmas, but we will do it!!!

Erotica day 1

It's that time of year again when the perves of the world decend on Olympia in London for Erotica 09.

Friday has been busy with lots of new faces visiting our stand, as well as lots of lovely old customers... It's always nice to head how people are enjoying our kit.

Busy!!

It's been a busy week this week with Venus fast approaching, and with various staff doing various family things we have had to pull out from the London Fetish Weekend.

Still with all the improvements this end we will soon (we hope!) be announcing the fact that it will be raven easier to get out kit if you can travel to central London. ARch this space for more details.

London fetish weekend

We have just booked for the London fetish weekend. (October 3rd and 4th) After the recent cancellation of this years Xpo at the Barbican, the london fetish weekend has a new 2 day event in central London. For more details see www.londonfetishweekend.com.

Server Migration / Downtime

It appears that our main shop site (www.e-stim.co.uk) and shop.e-stim.co.uk are undergoing a server migration from 10pm tonight until around 6am tomorrow morning...nice of our service providers to tell us in advance....

Our US and EU sites are not affected.

There is an article in todays Metro about electroplay. It's mainly about violet wands but there is a bit about us and TENS units as the reporter visited our stand at the last LFF. (I think we scared thrm with the OMG) You should be able to find the article on their website under todays date.

Xpo cancelled

Sadly it has been announced that there will be no Xpo at the Barbican this year. The Xpo is something a little special for us as this was the first major event we attended as a company. It survived the split from Skin Two and grew from strength to strength. Sadly I feel that its cancellation is not just been from the recession, but some people just don't want to take a risk and always want something for nothing. If you want a quality event to attend, both from a traders and visitors point of view, then you need to support the event early on, and not try to push every second for that last minute deal.... You might get the cheapest stand at the last minute, but you will eventually kill the proverbian golden goose. Events cannot be run on last minute 'deals' being made.

We wish good luck to Cathy & Paul and all the crew at Xpo, and look forward to joining them again in 2010!!!

Sunday at the BBB

Today we shall be mostly at the birmingham bizzare bizzar. Although lots of people can purchase our kit at their local adult emprorium, (and if they don't yet stock it ask them why not?), and of course through our website, its still nice to meet up with a nice bunch of perves on a Sunday afternoon and talk electricity!

And we get a chance to try out our new events display system...

Brighton Pride

Currently at Brighton Pride praying it doesn't rain. Lots of people about but more to come when the parade arrives around 1pm.

To Pride or not to Pride!!!! Ask the council

Sadly due to the fact that we were the only stand selling 'adult goods' we have had to drop out from the upcoming Cardiff Mardi Gras. Strange when you are running a gay event the powers that be want to remove all the adult bits.

So no Cardiff this year. Still if you are coming to Brighton Pride (and if not why not????) Its tomorrow... and we will be there!!! Bring wellies as the forcast is rain

Lovetrix & Big Brother

An excellent day at yesterdays lovetrix festival. The rain held off for most off the day and from time to time the sun managed to poke its head out.

Channel 4's reality Tv show Big Brother is at it again with another set of our E-Stim Remotes. Filming is Wednesday/Thursday this week, but we don't know yet when it's going to be broadcast or exactly what they ate going to be doing.

ETO

We gave just finished setting up the stand for the ETO trade show at the NEC in birmingham if your interested it's free entry for trade visitors only, and is running from tomorrow (Sunday) to Monday times are 10.30 to 16.30.

Flooded

We have a nice shiny new showroom, with a few inches of water on the floor :-( We had a bit of a downpour last night and the drains cannot cope.

Still it could have been worse and it won't affect orders or production.

Events

The planning has started for what is probably the biggest event of the year.... Venus Berlin. Held in the middle of October Venus is by many accounts one of the largest adult events in the world. More detail to follow.

While on the subject of events we are at the NEC in Birmingham UK for the ETO trade show on July 5th and 6th. This is a trade only event but if you are in the adult business then the ETO show is not to be missed.

Coming soon

June has been a busy month for us with the german fetish ball and only 3 weeks to go to ETO - The UK's only adult trade show. If you are coming along then you will find us on stand D20.

We have been busy in the workshop with an expansion into a new unit that we are conerting into our showroom. No longer will you have to climb over boxes of stock to collect your order, now you will be able to see our entire range on display. It's due to be complete by the end of the month. Callers by appointment only.

Berlin weekend

I have finally made it back into the office after a marathon weekend. The german fetish ball turned out to be a cracking event, well organized and well attended. The 1500 mile round trip was hard but the visitors to our stand made I'd all worth it. Many thanks to everyone, especially Mick who did the driving,Jenn who kept us all fed, the boys from latex101 who kept us all sane, and my wife who missed me like crazy. We will be back!!!!

We are all packed, the van is already on it's way to Germany, and I'm due to get up at 2am tomorrow. We are attending the german fetish ball in Berlin this coming Saturday and Sunday, so if you are young please drop by.

One thing that marks us out from other manufacturers is we don't just rely on our retailers or our website to sell our products, we also attend a large number of events, offering advice and demostrations. The events are the idea time to come along and see are entire range, as well as being able to ask any questions.

Ourt UK events list is filling up (have a look at http://www.e-stim.co.uk/events.php for more details) but we are also branching out into Germany, with our first appearence at the German fetish fair (http://www.germanfetishfair.com) we are all busily learning German, for some reason looking up the 23 different ways of swearing in German has made language learning much more fun than it was during school

You might think from my lack of posts that all is silent in the world of E-Stim, but you would be wrong great changes are afoot .....

The reason for homework

Why is it when people try to sell you things they never do their homework. Today we had a company call us wanting to design our products for us.....without knowing what we even made for all they knew we could have been building drilling platforms for mice, or dog food dispensers....when we explained that we had an in house design team all of who had experience and knowedge of our products they seemed to be a bit taken aback...the moral of this story? Do you homework!!

I cannot say too much at the moment but tomorrow nights (monday) celeb big brother on uk channel 4 looks like it's going to to be a rather 'shocking' experience driven by our E-Stim Remotes .... Watch this space for more details ....
