Sliding into the Slider
Sliding into the Slider

The Slider range actually started life as an idea a few years ago. Someone asked the question we'd been turning over in the workshop for a while - Why are insertable electrodes always one fixed length? You buy a Flange, you get the Flange's neck. You buy a Moaner, you get the Moaner's neck. If you wanted a different gap between the two contact points, you bought a different electrode. That's it.
It's not how anything else works. You wouldn't buy a separate camera body for every focal length. (I might, but then I am mad and into cameras.) The honest answer is that fixing the neck is the only sensible way to make a range work. We could offer the Flange in five neck lengths, the Moaner in five neck lengths, the Bobble in five neck lengths - but here's the catch. Whatever sizes we picked, we'd have guaranteed the size *you* want isn't one of them. And the logistics of keeping every size of every electrode in stock would be a nightmare. So everyone settles for "close enough," and that's how insertables have always been.
We wanted to do something different with the Slider. One electrode, one head you've already chosen, and a neck that moves to wherever you want it.

But what is it?
Two sizes. The Small Slider carries the one-inch head our Flange customers will recognise straight away. The Large Slider steps up to an inch and a half, picking up where the Moaner left off. The same heads people have loved for years. But with new trick up the sleeve.
Is it Magic?
The trick is the neck. It slides through the base of the electrode and locks at any length you want with a small hex key on the side. Three neck lengths cover the full range - Long at 75mm, Standard at 55mm, Short at 35mm - and all of them slide from a 3mm minimum upwards. The Standard ships fitted. The Long and Short are extras you can swap in when your play asks for it.
Like virtually all of our insertables, you can take the Slider apart for cleaning. Head, neck, base washer, body, locking screw - five pieces, every component, every time.
How it feels different
If you're coming from a Flange or a Moaner, the head shape will be familiar. The Slider lands in your hand the same way. What changes is what happens after that.
A fixed-neck electrode has one feel. The contact points sit where they sit, and the sensation that produces is the sensation you get. The Slider gives you a dial on that. Bring the head and base closer together and the current path through the body shortens — the sensation tightens up, sharpens, gets more concentrated. Open it up and the same intensity setting feels broader, more spread, a longer sweep through the tissue. Same Slider, same powerbox, same gel. Different play.
It's texture, not just intensity. The dial on the powerbox controls how strong; the neck position controls *what kind of strong*. Two parameters, not one. That's the Slider's job.
How to set it

Set the neck length with the Slider in your hand, before you go anywhere else. Loosen the small lock screw with the supplied key. Slide the neck where you want it. Tighten the screw back, again a quarter-turn. The locking screw has a nylon pad on the end that grips the neck without scoring it, so firm contact is what locks it, not force. Test it with hand pressure before you start. That's the routine.
You can adjust mid-session if you want to. Easier to slide the whole electrode, in our experience, but it's there if you want it.
Choosing the right neck
The Standard ships fitted because it does most of what most people want. 55mm of slide covers a useful range out of the box.
The Long is for when you want full extension — more depth, more scope, more of a stretch in how the electrode sits. If you've found yourself wishing the Standard went further, the Long is the answer. If this sticks out too much at the back, then consider the Short Neck.
A line on compatibility

Two 4mm banana sockets in the base. Standard E-Stim Systems cables plug straight in, both connections needed for the bipolar circuit. Works with any of our boxes - the 2B, the ElectroHelix, the ElectroPebble, the ABox, the Remote - and most third-party powerboxes too, with the right cable or adaptor.
The full operation manual lives at e-stim.info/manuals/sliders. This article is the why and the how-to-choose. The manual is the how-it-all-works.

When Your Brain Decides the Business Is Over
Sliding to EroSpain?
You design an electrode to fit nicely in the body. It also fits nicely in the hand. You spend hours getting the proportions right, the surface finish dialled in, the neck mechanism moving the way you want it to. You make it small enough to be practical and large enough to be interesting. You think about how it sits in the palm, how it connects, how it cleans. You don't, at any point, think about whether a 500% sized version of it will fit in a suitcase. We're heading to EroSpain this weekend. Hall 1, Stand 349, 17 to 19 May. Fira de Barcelona. Wayne, Caz and Kay on the stand for three days of trade-floor conversations, demos and the European retail launch of the Slider.
The new Slider, in its actual size, is one of the nicer things we've made this year. CNC-machined in our own workshops here in Watford, bipolar, adjustable, fully disassemblable (that is a word?). The sort of electrode that quietly does its job and asks nothing of you except to enjoy it. The real one fits in your hand.
The version going to Spain does not fit in our hands. Or our suitcases. Or anybody's idea of "reasonable hand luggage." We could have a problem. At least we are not travelling with Ryan Air.
We decided to make an oversized display piece for trade shows because a stand needs presence, and we like to be different. One year we brought a pick'n'mix. Nobody walks past a giant version of something. You can see it from the back of the hall, the proportions read at a distance, you know exactly what it is. It's good showmanship. It's also genuinely fun to build.
The downside is you then have to get it to Barcelona.
So we're packing. Caz has had opinions about how reasonable any of this is, especially as we had to borrow one of her Disney suitcases for it. We have packed and repacked. We considered shipping options and rejected them on the grounds that we'd rather wrestle a giant electrode through Heathrow than trust it to an airline freight handler. Been there, done that.
If you are at EroSpain on the trade days, come and find us. Stand 349, Hall 1. You cannot really miss us with a giant Slider on the stand. We'll have the full Slider range there in the size it's meant to be, alongside some other new ideas we have in the pipeline. Show floor wholesale orders carry a ten percent discount across all three days.
And if you want to know what the giant one feels like in person, we'll be very happy to show you. We've already done the hardest bit, which was getting it there.

The 3 00 AM Panic Every Business Owner Knows
Monday, 11 May 2026
Something a bit different this week
After 22 years of making e-stim products, I wanted to talk about something that doesn't usually make it into product videos.
It's the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, and I've been thinking about the stuff that happens in your head when you run a small business for a long time. The 3am panic when a competitor launches. The troll that lands at exactly the wrong moment. The internal voice that constructs a perfectly logical argument for why everything is about to fall apart.
I made a video about it. Not in the studio. Not polished. Just honest.
It covers what triggers it, what helps (and what sort of does), and why - after 22 years - there are still 34 new product ideas in the notebook.
You can watch it on our YouTube channel, or listen as a podcast - Episode 4 of I Make Sex Toys is out now on all major platforms.
If any of it resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
And if you're going through something harder than a bad business day — please talk to someone. Samaritans: 116 123. Free, confidential, 24 hours a day.

E-Stim Myths Busted: Wayne Answers the Questions We Get Asked Every Day
If you've ever been curious about E-Stim but talked yourself out of it based on something you read online, heard from a friend, or just assumed, then this video is for you.
We've been making electrostimulation equipment since 2004 and in that time we've probably heard every myth, misconception and half-truth going. Some of them are understandable. Some of them are genuinely funny. And a few of them, if we're honest, might actually be putting people off something they'd really enjoy.
So Wayne sat down and went through them. All of them.
Is it dangerous? Does it hurt? Is it just for BDSM? Just for men? Will it make you come instantly? Is it the same as a TENS machine? Do you need a partner? Is it too complicated? Too expensive? Do cheap units do the same job?
We have been making E-Stim equipment for quite a while - designing it, building it, and yes, using it. If anyone's qualified to give you a straight answer, it's probably us.
Some of the answers are exactly what you'd expect. A few of them might surprise you. Several of them made us laugh when we were editing.
No scripts, no marketing speak - just Wayne talking through the questions we get asked every single day.
Got a myth we didn't cover? Drop it in the video comments - we read everything.
And if the video sends you down a rabbit hole, the community forum at e-stim.net has years of customer questions, answers and experience waiting for you — or you can browse the store if you're ready to explore.

E-Stim Myths :: What You Got Wrong About E-Stim
Wednesday, 8 April 2026
Stocktake Day 2026 — Every. Single. Thing.
Once a year, everything stops.
Well, not everything. The Haas machines are still there. The 3D print farm is still humming. But the making pauses for a day while we do something far less glamorous. We count it all.
Every electrode. Every power unit. Every component we've machined here in our Watford workshop. Every. Single. Thing.
Stocktake day has been part of the calendar at E-Stim Systems since 2004. Twenty-two years of making things means twenty-two years of counting things. That's just how it works when you actually manufacture what you sell.
The coffee went on early. The cake, generously provided and gratefully received, lasted until mid-morning. It is gone now. We are mourning it appropriately.
There has been talk of rum. Captain Jack Sparrow has been invoked. We are holding firm. For now.
Here's the thing about stocktake day though. As tedious as it sounds, there's something quietly satisfying about it. You look at what you've made, what's ready to go out the door, what needs machining next. It's a snapshot of the business in a way that a spreadsheet never quite captures.
We'll be back to making things tomorrow. Today, we count.
If you've ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a small British manufacturer, this is it. Coffee, cake (RIP), a spreadsheet, and two people who really should have known what they were getting into twenty-two years ago.
We wouldn't change a thing.

The I Make Sex Toys Podcast Is Back - And We're Heading to Las Vegas
The I Make Sex Toys Podcast Is Back
It's been a while. Over a year, if we're being honest - and if you've been following E-Stim Systems for any length of time, you'll know that we'd rather be straight with you than pretend the gap didn't happen.
Running a business got in the way of talking about running a business. Which is, genuinely, the most on-brand thing we've ever done.
But we're back. Season 2 of I Make Sex Toys is here, and we're kicking it off with something worth coming back for.
What's Been Happening
While the podcast went quiet, the business didn't. The last year has been one of the most interesting - and honestly one of the most challenging - periods in E-Stim Systems' history.
We took a long hard look at where we were heading, and made a deliberate decision to shift back closer to our roots. Less chasing scale, more focus on making brilliant things and putting them in front of people who'll actually love them.
You might have noticed we jumped into 3D printing in a serious way - we built a print farm from scratch, learned a huge amount in the process, and started bringing new ideas to life faster than we ever could before. Some of those ideas landed really well. The RingRacks sold out of their entire first run in a single day.
Oh, and we turned 21 in September. Twenty-one years of making electric sex toys. In this industry, that's genuinely an achievement.
Season 2 Starts With a Big One
The reason the podcast is back - and the reason the timing felt right - is that we are heading back to the United States.
Not for the first time, it's worth saying. We've done the ANME shows in Burbank twice. But this is a different scale entirely.
Altitude Intimates. Las Vegas.
Possibly the largest adult trade show in the US. We'll be on the show floor, talking to retailers, meeting the community, and showing people what E-Stim kit can actually do. Face to face. Which, if you know our origin story - small fetish fairs, a table, a lot of explaining to do - feels very much like coming full circle.
Joining us in Vegas are Ian and Rachel from Joanne's E-Stim Emporium, long-time members of the E-Stim community who know our products inside out. And yes, Caz is coming too. She'd never have forgiven me otherwise.
What's Coming in Season 2
We're not giving everything away at once - that's not really our style - but here's what you can expect across the coming months:
- Behind-the-scenes from the shows
- The story of our 3D printing journey and what it's made possible
- New product news (we've got things in the pipeline — we'll talk about them when they're ready)
- Honest conversation about what it actually takes to run a business like this for 21 years

E-Stim Systems Heads to Altitude Intimates Las Vegas 2026
We're thrilled to announce that E-Stim Systems will be exhibiting at Altitude Intimates in Las Vegas this March — our first ever appearance at the show.
For over 21 years, we've been designing and manufacturing our full range of power boxes and electrodes right here in Watford, UK. Every one of our power boxes and insertable electrodes comes with a lifetime guarantee, and our products have picked up multiple industry awards along the way. Now we're bringing all of that to the US via the Party Capital of the world - Las Vagas.
Wayne and Caz will be heading out to the Paris Las Vegas from 22–24 March to showcase our full range to retailers and distributors from across the US and beyond. It's a huge step for us and one we've been working towards for a long time.
And if you know us, you'll know we can never resist a show without having something new up our sleeves. Shows have always been where we love to test new ideas and get first reactions — so let's just say it might be worth paying attention over the show.

We're Back — I Make Sex Toys Podcast Returns for Season 2
After more than a year away, the podcast that takes you behind the scenes of one of the UK's most unconventional manufacturers is back - and Season 2 is shaping up to be the biggest chapter yet.
If you've been following E-Stim Systems for a while, you might have noticed things went quiet on the podcast front. The last episode of Season 1 dropped in December 2024, and then… silence. No new episodes, no updates - just the hum of the workshop and a lot of work happening behind the scenes.
That changes now.
The Season 2 trailer is live, the mic is back on, and we've got more to talk about than ever. This isn't just a continuation - it's a whole new chapter for E-Stim Systems, and we're bringing you along for every moment of it.
So, What Happened?
Honestly? Life happened. Business happened. The adult industry is never short of challenges, and over the past year there's been plenty to navigate - from industry shifts and supply chain headaches to some genuinely exciting new ideas that needed time and focus to develop properly.
We haven't been sitting still. Far from it. And Season 2 is where all of that work - the quiet, unglamorous, behind-the-scenes kind - gets to come out into the open.
What's Coming in Season 2
Season 2 of I Make Sex Toys is going bigger in every sense. Here's a taste of what's ahead:
A British sex toy maker goes to Vegas. For the first time ever, E-Stim Systems will be exhibiting at Altitude Intimates in Las Vegas, March 2026. We're going to be documenting the whole journey, from the prep to the show floor, and are taking you along with us.
New products Season 2 coincides with some of the most exciting product development in E-Stim Systems' 21-year history. We'll be lifting the lid on what's been in the works.
Industry conversations. The challenges facing small manufacturers in the adult industry right now are real and complex. We won't be shying away from the difficult stuff.
The ins, outs, and everything in between. Because that's what this podcast has always been about — an honest, unfiltered look at what it actually takes to make sex toys for a living.

France's New €2 Import Charge — What It Means for Your E-Stim Systems Order
Heads up for our French customers — there's a new import fee on the way, but whether it affects you depends on how you choose to ship.
France is introducing a €2 handling charge on small packages imported directly from outside the European Union. Here's everything you need to know, and how to make sure it doesn't catch you off guard.
What Is the French €2 Import Charge?
From March 1st 2026, France is applying a €2 fee to low-value small packages shipped directly from non-EU countries into France. It's aimed at the surge of individually shipped parcels arriving from international retailers, and covers the customs processing costs involved. The fee applies to orders under €150 in value above that threshold, standard import duty rules already apply.
How You Ship Makes All the Difference
When you place an order with E-Stim Systems, you'll have a choice of shipping options - and that choice determines whether the new charge applies to you.
Teleship - No €2 Charge
If you select Teleship as your shipping method, at the moment you're completely in the clear. Teleship routes your order through Belgium, where full customs clearance takes place before your parcel continues its journey to France. Because it enters the EU in Belgium - not France - it arrives as a standard intra-EU delivery and the French import fee simply doesn't apply.
DHL - €2 Charge May Apply
If you choose DHL, your parcel is shipped directly from the UK into France, which means it falls under the new rules. If your order is under €150, you may see the €2 charge applied when you checkout. Orders over €150 are not affected by this particular fee.
Our Recommendation
For most orders, Teleship is the simplest way to avoid the charge entirely
DHL remains a great option if speed is your priority or your order is over €150, where the fee won't apply anyway.
For Both Teleship and DHL we offer DDP shipping (Delivery Duties Paid) so any charges are show on checkout - no shocks when it arrives on your doorstep.
Any Questions?
We want your shopping experience to be as straightforward as possible. If you're unsure which shipping option is right for you, or have any questions about your order, just hit the online chat - we are all human!!, or drop us an email.
